| Hoax (Stephen Geoffreys), the nerdy teen hero of 976-EVIL, spends most of his time envying his super-cool, biker cousin, Spike, when he`s not being bullied at school or oppressed at home by his religious fanatic mother. Things take a radical turn when Hoax begins calling a toll-free phone number that provides daily horrorscopes, and he becomes possessed by a demonic force that enters his mind and body via the telephone line. Soon he`s taking violent revenge on all those who crossed him. The film is directed by Robert Englund, best known as Freddy Krueger from the NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET series. |
